Converse have designed an exclusive purple sneaker just for Maddie’s Vision, a charity dedicated to finding a cure for Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome.

For us, sneakers are a year-round athleisure staple. And these limited edition Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars x Maddie’s Vision purple sneakers tick all of the right boxes, in our opinion.

Not only do these kicks look cool, but twenty dollars of each pair purchased will go directly to the charity, Maddie’s Vision. Aimed at finding a cure for Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome (BMFS) – a rare disorder that claimed the life of Maddie Riewoldt at just 26 years old – Maddie’s Vision provides much needed funds to support medical research into understanding and treating this potentially fatal collection of BMFS diseases.

“Purple was Maddie’s favourite colour so it’s fitting that we’ve been able to work with Converse on releasing a run of shoes that she would have adored herself,” said Maddie’s Vision CEO Nicky Long.

“Each year up to 140 young Australians are diagnosed with BMFS, however we fear this figure is much higher as a result of under-research and misdiagnosis.

“By wearing a pair of Maddie’s Sneaker you will not only help achieve Maddie’s goal of shining a spotlight on this disease but you’ll also look extremely stylish in your armour of support!”

Maddie’s Sneaker are available online and in selected stores for $100, for more information visit www.converse.com.au or www.mrv.org.au
