Mixed martial arts arrives at the newly renovated Fitness First Dee Why

Fitness First Dee Why has just had an amazing million dollar makeover. The newly renovated, gym boasts six lifting platforms, Olympic fixed weight benches as well as a sled track and multipurpose lifting cages. However, one thing that really grabbed our attention was the schmick new mixed martial arts and boxing area. This new space is amazing and the perfect place to unleash your inner warrior. Why not make a day of it by doing some early morning boxing before soaking up some sunshine on the beach? For more information visit www.fitnessfirst.com.au

Floriade hosts Canberra’s largest free bootcamp

Most of us associate Floriade with blooms not bootcamp. However, Canberra’s iconic flower festival is mixing things up on Saturday 11 October by hosting our capital’s largest ever free bootcamp. Led by former footballer turned fitness instructor, Alan Tongue, Floriade’s Big Bootcamp will get your blood pumping. Secure your spot by registering online at www.floriadeaustralia.com
