I often get a lot of queries about my fitness. How I workout and what I like to workout in. So, I thought I would create a video with small snippets of the areas that I focus on and how I like to sweat.
As you can see in the video, I like to mix my strength training with cardio to keep my heart rate up. I always train with weights 12 kg and under. This is my personal preference as I find my body responds best to lighter weights.
To finish, I always focus on stretching the muscles that I just trained. This is when my yoga teacher skills really come in handy! It’s super important to stretch post workout. It’s the best way to reduce that aching feeling the next day. Lastly, I must also say that wearing active wear is always a must when I workout. For me, this means a great pair of tights (that don’t slip down) teamed with a breathable top, supportive bra and a highly-flexible set of trainers. See my video workout outfits below.
