Sophisticated yet sporty in spirit. Luxe yet relaxed. These athletic-inspired layered looks ooze effortless elegance. They’re also easier to achieve than you may think. My main tip? Neutrals are always the best way to go when it comes to layering. And remember to keep the look tonal. Don’t crazy with your colour palette.

Don’t be afraid to wear a top tied around your waist. It synches you in and enhances your shape. Baring your midriff is entirely optional. You could also layer statement cropped top this with a fitted tank. However, whether you are showing off your tummy or not remember to keep the proportions looser on the bottom half. This look all about a relaxed feel.

Layering can be sexy. The trick is to subtly show some skin. When choosing a man-style jacket try and stick to fabrics that are less heavy.

Love the man-style trend on others but don’t think you could pull it off yourself? Try an oversized shirt worked back with a pretty skirt. The juxtaposition adds a touch of femininity.
