Even if you are the most commited health and fitness aficiando, at some point during the holiday season you’re bound to enjoy one too many glasses of champagne and/or miss your regular 90-minute yoga session. And, that’s totally fine. After all, it’s not really the holidays without a bit of indulgence. But, rather than beating yourself up, why not commit to a quick, at-home, full-body workout.
We turned to international models and fitness fanatics, Jordan and Zac Stenmark to guide us through their personal 30-minute workout. It’ll help improve flexibility, build muscle, burn calories, and release stress (which, when life gets insanely busy, can be a major benefit of working out).
This full-body circuit is a quick session we can do anywhere, at any time. It’s one we keep up our sleeve for times when we want to get moving but having limited time, space and equipment.
Circuit training offers the best of both worlds by allowing you to combine cardio and strength training. The intense nature of circuit training also kick starts your fat-burning into high gear – Jordan Stenmark.
The perfect 30-minute workout, no equipment required
- Jump squats
- Lateral lunge
- Bear crawl
- Jumping lunges
- Plank arm raise
- Mountain climbs
Complete each exercise for 40 seconds, with 20 seconds rest between each one. Repeat the entire circuit three times.
Finish off with 3 minutes of foam rolling or dynamic stretching to cool down.
