Last week we introduced you to our latest skincare discovery here at Sporteluxe, the new philosophy renewed hope in a jar collection. Having just been released, the renewed hope in a jar collection is a reformulation of philosophy’s iconic hope in a jar, which incorporates the latest advances in skincare. Team Sporteluxe has been trialling the renewed hope in a jar moisturizer, eye cream and cleanser. A few days in here’s how we’re finding the renewed hope in a jar collection so far!

“As the name implies this moisturizer is designed to help refine skin texture by using alpha-hydroxy acids and my face definitely felt smoother even from the first use. Maybe it’s the Asian fruit extracts, but as well as feeling softer my skin also had a nice healthy glow afterwards.” Sarah Ranawake, Sporteluxe Partner/Editorial Director

“I liked how lightweight this felt on my skin and a little also went a long way. I didn’t need a lot of product to moisturize my whole face and yet it felt like the hydration was really penetrating into those deeper layers of my skin.” Mia Lake, Sporteluxe Interiors Expert

“Like most women I’m not a fan of fine lines. But for me I find when I do notice those little lines around my eyes it’s usually because my skin is dehydrated. Planes are the worst for this! However, I haven’t used an eye cream for years as I often find them irritating to the sensitive skin around my eyes. I usually just rely on a few drops of rosehip oil instead. So I was really impressed by how gentle yet nourishing this cream was. My skin just drank it up! Take that fine lines! It’s also meant to be good for dark circles, which are an issue for me no matter how much sleep I get due to my olive skin tone, so I’m hoping I’ll see an improvement on that front with continued use.” – Sarah Ranawake

“This luxe cleanser felt lovely on my skin. It was cleansing but not drying. I also liked the subtle scent that lingered afterwards. One tip I would say is that if, like me, you’re not used to using a creamy textured cleanser be sure to wash the product away properly. I was in a rush the first time I used it and it was only a little while later that I realized I had dried cleanser on the side of my face! On a totally superficial level I also love the typographical quotes on the packaging and how great the whole renewed hope in a jar collection looks lined up on my bathroom shelf. I am an interior designer after all!” – Mia Lake

The philosophy renewed hope in a jar collection is available at selected David Jones stores, Mecca Maxima and Sephora Australia. It is also available online at shop.davidjones.com.au, meccacosmetica.com.au, adorebeauty.com.au and skincarestore.com.au.
