Another year, another Fashion Week, another wardrobe to look forward to. MBFWA 2017 did not disappoint.

Among cult favourites such as Ellery and Dion Lee, we saw new names like Hansen & Gretel and of course, the return of the Active Collective Showcase. And since our activewear will be getting the most airtime in the coming months (game plan: live in leggings, sneakers and chic sweat tops as we bide our time until summer), we wanted to share the new collections with you, our sporty sisters.

This year the Resort 2017/18 paid homage to old styles (read: the chic revival of Teva Sandals) and entertained with new and exciting designs. We saw bold, tropical prints—but not as you know them—the resurgence of metallic (we called it) and some seriously chic monochrome staples. In fact, every designer brought something new to the runway giving us inspiration for sweat to street style.

But it wasn’t just leggings and crops on show. Brands branched out experimenting with swim and accessories—check out Nimble’s new neoprene bags.

Stop what you’re doing, open a new Bookmarks folder and start saving your pennies, here’s what you’ll be buying in the months to come.
