All the mamas-to-be out there, we feel you. Pregnancy is a beautiful, mysterious, and sometimes downright scary experience to be going through. Your bodies and moods swings are changing by the minute. The hormones and cravings may be taking over, much to the dismay of your confused and somewhat bewildered partner.

We know it’s important to keep your body active, and maybe even jump-start the passion for Downward Dog onto the budding yogi inside you. But that shouldn’t mean compromising your active wear wardrobe.

Mel Bryden and Amy Hahn know all too well the struggle of reluctantly having to set aside beloved leggings during pregnancy. That’s why they created and founded The Ten Active, an Australian made maternity active wear brand. You’ll never miss another Pre-Natal yoga class or coffee date with their chic pieces.

Introducing maternity activewear brand: The Ten Active

The Ten Active focuses on maternity workout tights. Each style features their signature four way stretch, moisture absorbing fabric, which is designed to move with you, and most importantly, around you. Meanwhile, the stretchable bellyband is set to be your new best friend. The supportive, elastic fabric will follow you pre and post pregnancy (or maybe just pre and post Sunday brunch), thanks to its comfortable (not to mention soft-as-butter) feel.

With a range of flattering designs, the carefully selected colours will go with just about anything. Pair them with a loose white tee and some birckenstocks on the way to yoga, or even some cool sneakers for running errands. Expecting a little one has never looked so simultaneously fashionable and comfortable. They’ve even rendered us non-pregnant lot with just a little bit of style envy.

The Ten Active have just launched three signature styles in varying lengths (three quarter or full), and something tells us these bad boys will (eventually) be a wardrobe staple in everyone’s closet.
