Winter is here and if you’re anything like us, that means plenty of skinny jeans, boots, scarves and bomber jackets! And by skinny, we mean tight jeans that will literally get your butt into gear.
For the most of us, crawling out of bed at some ungodly, freezing hour to then hit the workout studio is never appealing. And by the time you’ve finally arrived home from work feeling like a zombie, crashing on the couch seems like the best idea you’ve had all day long. So where does that leave your workout? “Oh I’ll do it tomorrow…”. Excuse after excuse, morning after morning, and by the time you’ve finally realised that you really need to do something about your squishy butt, winter is almost over. So, no skinny jeans for you!
So, to say adios all those excuses, Kate Kendall, co-founder of Flow Athletic in Paddington, and I have created a very short yoga sequence that will help lift your butt higher and make it firmer. Just think how good it will feel to slide into skinny jeans rather than squeeze!
Just watch our video, then set yourself the challenge to spend just 10 minutes every day following it. Remember, it will be worth it! Go deeper, do more reps, add an extra minute to the workout each time. Remember, if you don’t push yourself, you’ll never see those results you’ve been dreaming of.
Tip: Practice for 10 minutes per day, alternating legs. You can do this in your office, when you wake up, when you’re waiting for your dinner to cook or, best of all, watching TV!
