One of the great things about being editorial director of Sporteluxe is the fact that I get to immerse myself in the world of health and wellness. Here are a few things I’m loving right now!

Awesome gear from New Balance

As you can probably imagine the fashion closet at Sporteluxe HQ is literally overflowing with all the latest active wear on the market. Right now, I’m pretty impressed with all the awesome gear New Balance is creating. The flattering New Balance Impact Capri tights and Heidi Klum for New Balance Sexy Bra which I’m wearing here have both been on high rotation for my hot yoga sessions at Fitness First George Street Platinum. I love how the bra supports without squishing and the intricate strap detailing is super cute. I’ve literally had a couple of women come up to me in the change rooms to ask where I got my sports bra. Gotta love that!

Beauty-boosting sips

After interviewing the Anthia Koullourous from OVViO Organics and learning how amazing grass-fed gelatine is for boosting your collagen levels and nourishing your skin and hair I’ve started adding a teaspoon of grass-fed gelatine to my evening cup of chamomile tea. Sometimes I’ll add a teaspoon of coconut oil too just to increase the good fats. I’ve also been mixing Bodyism Beauty Food in with the organic supergreens powder I take each morning.

Manly adventures

Lately, I’ve been spending a bit of time over in Manly. As well as getting a dose of Vit D and biophilia at gorgeous little beaches like Fairlight and Shelly Beach I’ve also been exploring the local healthy foodie scene. My favourite find has been a cute little wholefoods café attached to a surf store called The Shop Next Door. As well as some great breakfast options they also do a seriously delicious brewed chai made with fresh almond milk. They also stock two of my absolute fave raw treats, Citizen Cacao chocolates and Spring Wellness bliss balls. Great for refuelling after a day of beach hangs!
