Listen up Sydney healthy foodies. We’ve got the scoop on a new casual dining destination called Bondi Harvest that we think you’ll love! Guy Turland and Mark Alston, creators of the Bondi Harvest YouTube series, have revealed the next step in the evolution of the Bondi Harvest healthy food brand with the opening of a café of the same name inside The Eastern in Bondi Junction.
The cafe is located on the first floor of the Bondi Junction Westfield shopping centre but Bondi Harvest’s food will transport you straight to Bondi beach. Embracing the philosophy that a healthy life is all about balance Bondi Harvest boasts a menu of ‘naughty’ and ‘nice’ options using locally sourced seasonal produce. With a dinner menu on the way, which we predict will prove very popular with Bondi Junction movie goers, it’s clear Guy and Mark want to bring a little bit of the Bondi Harvest vibe into everyone’s lives.
“Bondi Harvest is a food reflection of the Bondi lifestyle – a nice paradox of soft sand running and green smoothies in the morning, followed by dinner and cocktails with good mates that evening,” says Guy. That sounds pretty swell to us!
The menu is filled with fresh and flavoursome and ingredients, with breakfast highlights including the Zucchini Breaky bowl ($19), Savoury Quinoa Pancakes ($15) and the The Breaky Sandwich ($15). On the lunch menu except to see superfood salads ($15 each) and organic sourdough sandwiches (from $15) with cold-pressed juices, smoothies and coffee available all day. Making it a great place to pop in for a meal or a quick retail therapy refuel.
