You may have heard of this leading workout already. With studios in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, it’s hard not to know about Barre Body.
The spaces are renowned for their beautiful design, which adds a whole new dimension to your workout. Sporteluxe’s own Bianca Cheah hails it one of her favourite studios when back home in Sydney. While numerous models (among others, Jesinta Campbell and Jessica Hart), actors and Aussie socialites have been spotted coming out of their classes.
Well, good news for Melbournites! The Flinders Lane studio has relaunched its flagship store with a stunning new design by Mihaly Slocombe Architects. Nothing was left undecided thanks to the careful, yogi-eye of owner and founder, (and Sporteluxe contributor) Emma Seibold.
“At any one of the stunning Barre Body studios, our clients can expect to be greeted with a warm welcome from a highly qualified teacher, the space will be lit with candles offering a luxury spa-like ambience and then of course, there is a challenging workout that awakens every muscle in the body, topped off with meditation and mindfulness ensuring a total mind and body transformation.” – Founder Emma Seibold.
It’s safe to say Barre Body is speaking our language. The revamped studio located at 175 Flinders Lane features timber, linen and brass as the expressive materials surrounding the space. Meanwhile, the concrete floor is ground black and polished to a high lustre, giving it that luxury boutique studio appeal. You can also expect to do your favourite Dynamic Flow Yoga or Barre Fit class surrounded by Australian hardwood dowels and linen curtains.
The brand new updates also include all the balance and strength workout classes that have rendered them a success in the past. With a fusion of ballet, Barre condition, yoga and Pilates, you’ll be sure to feel the burn as you sculpt, tone, and strengthen your entire body. The holistic approach to wellness that is infused with every class sets the tone for a balanced lifestyle and is the main reason why Barre Body sets itself apart from any other Barre studio available.
If you’re in the Melbourne area, make a pit stop at this modern-chic setting and try out a barre class for yourself! We guarantee it won’t disappoint.
