Beauty travellers: you’ll love this luxe new airport boutique

Amuse, airport beauty boutique

Here’s something special enough to drag us away from the frequent flyer lounges at Sydney’s (and soon Melbourne’s) domestic airport: two brand new luxury beauty concept stores in Terminals 2 and 3 that feature some of the most indulgent fragrance and beauty brands on earth, along with makeovers for weary travellers.

As well as selling products from the likes of Tom Ford, Penhaligon’s, Creed, Amouage, Bond No.9, Robert Piguet and Jo Malone, the new AMUSE Beauty Studios offer express makeovers and makeup artistry services too, which sounds way more appealing to us beauty enthusiasts than just killing time at the gate.

Amuse 2 Amuse 1

They’re also the only place in Australia outside Hermes boutiques where you’ll find brand’s much-coveted candles and home fragrance products, as part of a unique Hermes store-in-store concept. (In fact, it’s only the second Hermes offering like this in the southern hemisphere!)

If you’ve travelled through Terminal 2 since April you may have already seen the first boutique – likewise for the second if you were in Terminal 3 last month. Melbourne’s Terminal 4 is set to get it’s own AMUSE Beauty Studio in August, with more set to roll out across Australia.

So if you’re flying soon from Sydney, we’d suggest you book your taxi an hour earlier than usual, then save a little extra room in your carry-on for some pre-flight beauty retail treats or last minute gift shopping. Bon voyage!
