Buy budget-friendly Dion Lee performance wear today!

Do you remember the interview we did with superstar Australian fashion designer Dion Lee several months ago, announcing that he was designing a special capsule collection for retailer Target?

Tonight at 8pm, you can finally buy the Dion Lee for Target collection online here, before it goes on sale in store tomorrow. Chances are given the creative director’s super-hot status on the international style scene, this range won’t last long. After all, this is your chance to own a piece of Dion Lee at a fraction of the cost of his usual high-end ready-to-wear pieces.

The key features of the 35-piece range, which covers a neutral palette (lots of black, white and grey) and features day-to-night clothing, active-wear and loungewear, are perforated nylon, ombre jacquard knitwear, silk and cotton shirting and bonded neoprene accessories.

“I have often used technical fabrications and finishes within my own line and was interested in using these elements to inform the design,” Dion told us when we spoke to him earlier this year at the range’s official announcement. Prices range from A$25 to A$119.

Why a performance line rather than a straight fashion one for Target?

“I was interested in designing a capsule collection that integrated performance pieces, outerwear and occasion wear,” Dion told us. “Looking at how modern women dress, there is far more integration these days in how clothes work within a variety of contexts.”

“It makes sense then for people’s fashion choices to become more integrated with function and comfort, bridging both areas.”

Fashion-forward Dion Lee performance pieces at a fraction of designer prices? Yes, please. Don’t walk… run!

The Dion Lee capsule collection is available at 35 selected Target stores nation wide. Click here for more details.
