Try these exercises before your next workout to ensure your body is warmed up from head-to-toe!
Start squatting with your toes straight and knees straight. Then squat with your toes out and knees out. Followed by a squat with your toes in and knees straight. Do six reps of each foot position.
Forward lunge, lateral lunge and transverse lunge. Imagine a clock face stepping to 5 o’clock and 7 o’clock. Alternate legs, six in each direction. Reach in different directions to increase the stretch. Do six reps of each move per side.
Begin in a plank position and move with an arm rotation, ensuring your hips and chest move at the same speed. Then return to the plank position and drive your knee drive to your chest. Lastly, do a push up. Do six reps on each side.
Do two footed jumps forward and back and side-to-side in rotation. Aim for a soft landing like a spring and do six jumps in each direction.
