It’s a question a lot of women ask me: how do I drop weight without dropping a bra size? It all comes down to the food choices.
What to eat
You need to start upping your intake of good fats. Eating good fats helps to modulate hormones and thus helps keep breast tissue. Some great examples of good fats are:
- Raw nuts and seeds. You really do want them to stay raw. When we expose them to heat they become rancid and can actually cause inflammation in the body. This makes it really hard to lose weight.
- Oily fish
- Coconut oil. I cook with it and add it to smoothies. I even add a teaspoon to my green tea if I really want to up the good fats.
- Extra virgin olive oil. Go for Aussie oil as there are more antioxidants
TOP TIP: Try using good fats to make delicious treats. I love to make raw choc avo mousse.
What to avoid
It’s really hard to drop weight when there’s too much junk in your diet. This means decreasing refined carbs, such as white breads and pastas, packaged foods and processed sugars. Avoid refined sugar, instead you want your sugars to come from natural wholefood sources. Get your sweet fix from real fruit instead.
Lastly, be happy with yourself! It’s much easier to achieve your goals when you’re happy, so do the things that make you shine!
