How to work the puffa gilet

Not just for 90’s pop stars, the puffa gilet is a must-have addition to your transeasonal wardrobe. Perfect for layering, it’ll look fab en route to the gym or yoga. In these images, we’ve layered a puffa gilet with a tank, crop top and tights.

For weekends, try pairing your puffa gilet with boyfriend jeans and a long-sleeve tee or pullover. In winter you can even layer it under a coat for extra warmth.

Our advice? Keep your puffa gilet a versatile basic by opting for an understated colour like navy, grey or classic black, as we’ve shown you here. Then add interest to the look by incorporating colour into the rest of your ensemble or through bright accessories. We love this colour combo of yellow, grey and black. However, the beauty of a black puffa gilet is that it will work with almost any colour palette!
