We asked Adelaide-based bikini body trainer and Instagram sensation Kayla Itsines to open up her healthy address book and share her some of her favourite spots in her home town.
“The places I would recommend to eat at for breakfast and brunch would A Mother’s Milk, Argo on the Square, Bar 9 and PURE Boutique Coffee Bar. Froth & Fodder is also amazing too. For dinner there is a fantastic Argentinian restaurant, Fire on Unley, which does great steaks and chicken. There is also another place called Nutrition Republic which sells amazing raw cheesecake for a treat.”
“I have a yoga teacher who comes to my house and does classes for the whole family. But in terms of training, I train at Anytime Fitness and I love it.”
“We do an early morning boot camp outside and the girls absolutely love it. The sun obviously isn’t blaring down at that time of the day and you’re getting vitamin D and fresh air from the breeze… Adelaide is quite small but there are lots of ovals you can train at and beaches. Glenelg Beach is lovely. You can run from Glenelg via Henley, running along the beach is fantastic. You can also climb Mount Lofty.”
