I always start my day with exercise, either yoga, Pilates, a gym or a walk. This is followed by a healthy brekkie such as eggs and a piece of artisan sourdough, oats with yoghurt and berries, or a protein berry smoothie. Then I settle in for my day which might include doing a little meditation, some journaling or even just sitting still and setting a positive intention. And I make tea. There is always tea! Then I get to work.
Being healthy means living your best life. In whatever way works for you. It means listening to your body, nourishing and strengthening it in ways that feel right that moment. Acknowledging your emotions, so that you have a sense of balance, energy and vitality. We must learn how to create health emotionally, mentally and physically so that we can put energy into creating, loving and cherishing the things that matter to us.
I make self-care a priority by exercising, meditating and eating well. And allowing myself treats so my whole being – body, mind and spirit – stays happy!
Yes, I love cooking! I love making simple dishes, preferably using only one pan. My baked eggs recipe is a household staple!
Setting boundaries with work time and rest time is crucial. Switching off and re-energising ourselves is one of the single best ways we can live a healthier, more vibrant and more balanced life. However, essentially, I swear by doing what feels right for my body, everyday. I love exercising each morning, getting sunshine on my face and eating well.
I practice yoga four to five times a week. I am in love with yoga and I think it loves me back. In between I walk, do Pilates and go to the gym to get a real sweat going.
Good quality organic stoneground artisan sourdough topped with smashed avocado, drizzled in olive oil and sprinkled with Himalayan salt. And maybe a soft-boiled egg on the side. Or red wine. Or good coffee. I love indulging in healthy treats. They’re crucial for living a balanced life. When we don’t indulge occasionally, we can start overthinking food choices.
I love to do clay masks for deep cleansing every once in a while. I also use jojoba oil for my face and coconut oil for my body.
Lox Stock & Barrel café in Bondi Beach is my go-to place for healthy salads and homemade cashew and almond milk. They also have the best dinner menu! The staff know me too well by now. I don’t need a menu. They know what I want to order!
BodyMindLife in Bondi is a beautiful space with healing yoga and intimate reformer Pilates classes.
ENISHI in Bondi does incredible massages.
When I’m in London I love to go to Ginger and White. It’s totally like a Sydney cafe, and they do the best soft-boiled eggs and soldiers. The eggs come with hand-knitted beanies to keep them warm. The vibe is chilled and the atmosphere cosy. Oh and their coffee is amazing too!
I either give myself a day off or get up and go to yoga. Everything is better after yoga! Journaling also helps me to motivate myself, as does planning out my week ahead and ensuring I have made time for self-care to help keep my energy levels up.

Water. I hate being thirsty! Tea. All kinds and all the time. And my hubby!
