This week in Wellness Watch we are working out for a cause at the Triathlon Pink and Fun Run Pink, doing the Eureka Climb in Melbourne and bonding with our four legged friends at the Dog Lovers Show in Sydney.
Triathlon Pink and the Fun Run Pink will take place on 9 November in Perth and on the Sunshine Coast on 30 November, to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer charities. Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney events will be held early next year. Triathlon Pink will see women competing at different lengths and levels in swimming, bike riding and running. Not up for the challenge of a triathlon? Why not join in on either the 5km or 2.5km Fun Run Pink or get the little ones involved on the 1km course. This event caters to everyone regardless of your fitness level. So pick out your fave pink attire and most reliable sneakers and get amongst the fun. For more info visit www.triathlonpink.com.au
It’s no secret we think it’s important to nurture the health of our dogs here at Sporteluxe. So if you are based in Sydney and have a four legged family member (or are considering getting one) why not come along to The Dog Lovers Show at the Hordern Pavilion this weekend 7-9 November? Whether you’re seeking advice on how to adopt a pup, wanting to know the best tips and tricks on how to care for your pooch then this event is a must! See a wide range of different breeds, learn more about the dog wellness and pick up some tasty new treats and toys and accessories. For more info visit www.dogloversshow.com.au/sydney
Want to challenge your fitness? Racing up Melbourne’s tallest tower on 16 November is one way to do it! With 1642 stairs across 88 levels making your way up Eureka Tower won’t be a cinch but raising funds for Interplast Australia and New Zealand is great added motivation!
