Meditating actually makes postive changes to your cells!

There’s now yet another reason to schedule in some meditation. While we already knew it reduced stress and helped focus, new research has shown it also make positive changes in your cells.

When compared with the control group who performed quite tasks but skipped the meditation, those who Om’d their way through eight hours of meditative deep breathing had less inflammation in their body and improved functioning of their gene-regulating mechanisms.

This exciting research suggests taking the time out for some meditation may help prevent diseases caused by faulty cells. Particularly genes which are currently targeted by anti-inflammatory and pain-relief drugs. Less meds, more deep breathing people.
