The $79 Sunglasses Celebrities Can’t Stop Wearing

At $79 a pair, we'll take one of everything, thanks.

Sunglasses aren’t like regular glasses. You don’t just have one pair. You can’t throw on any outfit, finish it off with your shades and assume it’s stylish—unless you’re Kanye, obviously. If you’re not, they can make or break your whole get-up. They’re more like shoes, really. You need multiple to suit different clothes, moods, occasions, (*insert excuse to buy another pair here*).

So it goes without saying that we’re always on the hunt for sunnies. We want high-quality frames with polarised lenses that don’t leave us eating pot noodles for a month … is that too much to ask? If Polaroid Eyewear’s latest collection is anything to go by, it’s not.

Polaroid Eyewear has been around for yonks. So long, in fact, they actually invented the polarised lens. Yep, back in 1929, Edwin Land developed the first polarised lens, which led to the Polaroid Corporation, known today as Polaroid Eyewear. And although the brand has evolved since its inception (it’s their 80th anniversary this year), it’s stayed true to its roots, providing high-quality shades at affordable prices.

The latest collection is no different. It’s full of easy to wear styles, offering fun updates on classic designs. Plus, there’s really nothing like their polarised lenses. Don’t believe us? You can see them in action, below. We chose three of our favourite pairs and styled them three different ways to show there’s literally something for everyone (or every alter ego at least).

1. Look 1: Sporty Chic

Bianca wears Polaroid sunglasses, Nike Tech Fleece + tights, Apple Watch and Puma X The Kooples sneakers

We’re firm believers that a stylish accessory is all it takes to turn an ordinary outfit into an effortlessly chic one. Case in point: activewear. While we live in the stuff, there are some instances where comfort comes at the expense of style. By finishing the look with Polaroid Eyewear’s aviators, it’ll immediately elevate your athletic attire.

2. Look 2: Girl Boss

Bianca wears Polaroid sunglasses, A.L.C Pea Coat and Nike X Cortez Sneakers.

Feeling sassy? … When aren’t we? Tell the world you mean business in these black round frames with dark grey lenses. We paired them back with an all-black blazer and suede Nike sneakers.

3. Look 3: Everyday Easy
