Rita Ora’s hot new dragon-inspired collaboration with adidas Originals

Dragons are hot property right now. Whether you’re a Game of Thrones fanatic, love classic Asian mythology or just want something eye-catching to spice up your sports wardrobe, the latest collaboration between adidas Originals and superstar songstress, actor and style icon, Rita Ora, is set to please.

The new Spring/Summer 2015 Dragon Print collection sees basketball-inspired adidas athletic wear (high tops, shell toes and long tops) embellished with a fire red and flame yellow graphic dragon print, apparently a nod to Rita’s interest in the powerful fantasy beast – and to a self-confessed trainer obsession.

“I’ve always been a sneaker-head,” she admits. “Adidas has always been a staple in my closet, so it was a natural fit for me to collaborate with them, I’m just grateful they wanted to work with me!”

We love the new edition of the Superstar sneakers (a modern spin on the classic shell toe style), worn above by Sporteluxe’s Bianca. It’s an easy-to-wear style and the dragon print is subtle enough that you can team them with almost anything.

Then again, if subtle isn’t your thing, these print-tastic wedge sneakers (furthest picture below) in all-over dragon print, will probably rock your world just as much. Both styles are guaranteed to grab attention.
