Show your support by participating in Pink Ribbon Yoga

Chances are, you know someone who has been affected by breast or gynaecological cancer, with around fifty women diagnosed with the disease every day in Australia. So this November, Sydneysiders, you can help raise funds and awareness for this worthwhile cause, whilst also getting an endorphin rush, by participating in the Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon Yoga Class.

The outdoor yoga sessions will be led by Omology Yoga every Wednesday in Hyde Park from 12.15pm till 1pm with all proceeds going directly towards world-class research into women’s cancers, cancer prevention, advocacy programs and support services to help those affected by women’s cancers at every stage of their journey.

“It’s fantastic to have the opportunity to put on these classes in such a beautiful location. We hope to see a lot of people there to enjoy and take part in the yoga class and to help us raise funds and awareness for women’s cancers,” said Jet van Batenburg from Cancer Council NSW Sydney Region.

You can attend one class for $20, or buy yourself a pass for all three classes for $50. Everyone attending the event will also receive a thank you present from stylish active wear label Violent Orange, and a few lucky attendees will take home some amazing Violent Orange prizes.

All skill levels are welcome, so why not take your lunch break, grab your yoga mat and head to Hyde park – this event is not to be missed!
