Try this decadent chocolate peanut butter creation

Earlier this week we introduced you to our new latest girl crush, New York-based model turned healthy chef and author Candice Kumai.

This amazing smoothie recipe is from Candice’s new book, Clean Drinks 100+ Recipes to Renew & Restore Your Body and Mind. “This is truly like heaven in a glass,” says Candice. “Every friend who tested this recipe had to send a text: ‘Oh, my goodness, it tastes like a chocolate peanut butter cup!’ Happy tummies and happy friends. That’s what I strive for.” Having whipped this smoothie up ourselves we’d have to agree!

Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

2 cups baby spinach

1 frozen banana

1⁄2 Bartlett pear, cored

2 tablespoons natural peanut butter

2 tablespoons cacao

1 cup ice

Method

1)     Add ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
