When you’re stuck for which comfy shoes best complement your outfit, do you always end up reaching for some Converse? Yep, us too.
For many decades, the Converse All Star has owned a coveted spot in almost every fashion-focused girl’s wardrobe at some point – sometimes multiple pairs. After all, it’s a street fashion staple.
Well, get your laneway poses ready ladies because the Converse All Star has had a makeover!
For the first time since its debut in 1917, the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star has been redesigned, creating the Chuck II, which pays homage by staying true to the DNA of the original, says Richard Copcutt, Vice President of Converse All Star.
However, the classic vintage Chuck style has been given an innovative modern twist to improve on comfort and quality. These new kicks include a Nike Lunarlon sockliner and super soft suede lining, promising to make these famously comfortable shoes comfier than ever.
“The Chuck Taylor All Star is one of the most legendary and iconic sneakers of all time,” said Jim Calhoun, Converse President and CEO. “The launch of Chuck II is a ground-breaking moment for Converse as we continue to move the brand forward through creativity and innovation, ushering in not just a new sneaker, but a completely new way of thinking.”
The new generation Con was officially released this week and will be available online at converse.com.au, in the Converse Melbourne Central Flagship Store and in selected Foot Locker, Hype DC and Platypus Shoes stores around the country, retailing for $120.
We can’t wait to get our hands on a pair and test the new comfort-factor for ourselves!
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Sneaker is built for more with innovative comfort technology and premium materials.
