Sitting at a desk all day can take its toll on your health, especially your muscles, especially if you aren’t using them for hours. A great stretch to finish your day with is the seated forward bend, known in yoga terms as paschimottana. Not only is this stretch brilliant for the hamstrings, shoulders and spine it also calms the mind and helps to relieve stress, soothes headaches and reduces fatigue. Which is why it’s the perfect yoga pose for the end of the day.
