Bright eyed and bushy tailed we arrived at Sporteluxe HQ this morning for our fourth week of training to prepare for the upcoming N+TC Tour Sydney with Nike Master Trainer Greg Sellar. Here’s the lowdown on how he whipped us into shape this week!

“Four weeks into our N+TC Tour Sydney training and I’ve developed a bit of a love/hate relationship with our sessions with Greg. I look forward to them, however, there are always a few points in the workout where you literally feel like you’ve got nothing left in the tank. Yet Greg’s encouragement always motivates me to push myself further. While I’m definitely starting to feel my core getting stronger, upper body strength is definitely still my weakness (pun intended!). As usual at the end of today’s session I felt such an immense sense of satisfaction. As cheesy as it sounds we were literally giving each other high fives for getting through the session. What better way could there be to kick off a day at work?!”

“It was dark when my alarm went off but I was super excited for the training session ahead! Greg definitely made the early start worth it, putting us through our paces with lunges, squats, burpees and everything in between to get us up and moving for the busy day ahead – and that was just the warm up! With strength training, HIIT and cardio, we were a sweaty little team by the end of the session! We finished with a Tabata style workout which really pushed us to our limit (and made me re-think my fun loving attitude towards Tabata) but I couldn’t think of a better way to start the day.”

“This morning was my first training session with Nike master trainer Greg Sellar, the team warned me that it would be tough and they weren’t wrong – it certainly pushed me to my limits! It was a high intensity 45-minute workout that focused on three main goals inspired by the Nike+ Training Club App – to get lean, toned and strong. Greg kept us motivated the whole time and by the end of the workout we were covered in sweat and grass, always a good sign that you’ve made the most of the workout! I’m really looking forward to pushing myself further next week and using the N+TC app in the mean time to keep working on my fitness!”
