Thankfully, Springs Street’s newest resident, The Brunch Lady has unpacked her lettuce leaves and moved into the heart of Sydney’s Bondi Junction. The stylish café has transformed what it means to get food on-the-go, offering an epic array of wholesome meals that are set to leave you feeling good inside and out.
Owner and concept creator Natasha Pillion says, “What initially started as just a salad bar, turned into a complete health concept for the time-poor.”
As one would expect there’s a carnival of breakfast/brunch options, from their Instagram-worthy avocado, Persian feta, chilli and truffle oil toast to their not-so-guilty protein packed pancakes.
But you’ll also be pleasantly surprised to know that The Brunch Lady can serve up a cracking lunch, too. You’ll find that their ‘Buddha Bowl’ doesn’t disappoint, combining heavenly vegan falafels with kale, quinoa, roasted pumpkin, sweet potato, broccoli and a zesty tahini dressing. If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, their seasonal DESIGN-A-SALAD bar also gets a big thumbs up from team Sporteluxe. With over 39 different locally-sourced ingredients to choose from, you’re spoilt for choice. And as an added bonus, The Brunch lady doesn’t believe in charging extra for the coveted additions of eggs and avocado (win!)
Their smoothie menu is equally impressive, with their ‘Just Like a Chocolate Milkshake Only Healthy’ a definite standout for a guilt-free chocolate fix.
Still hungry? You can’t go past their dizzying array of home-made sweets, because let’s be honest, there’s always room for a matcha cookie, beetroot brownie, pumpkin protein bar, or sweet potato blondie (or perhaps one of each!)
