This week in Wellness Watch we’re heading to Perth to check out the Fitness Show and Solomon’s Cafe, and going to The Wellness Summit in Melbourne.
The Fitness Show 2014 will kick off in at the Perth Convention and Exhibition center 16-17 August (it will be coming to Sydney in October). With guest appearances, seminars and stalls devoted to all things fitness and health related from supplements to sporty fashion it’s a must for fitness lovers.
If all that talk of fitness leaves you a little hungry head to Solomon’s an organic café in Highgate. The extensive menu caters to all sorts of healthy foodies from paleo devotees to vegans, vegetarians, and raw food lovers. Think everything from local sardines with spinach and sundried tomatoes to vegan quinoa sushi or paleo lamb curry serves with grain less vegetable rice. All washed down with kombucha and fresh vegetable juice. Yum!
The Wellness Summit is a two-day event taking place from 16-17 August at the Crown Conference that aims to overhaul your approach to health and wellness. Think an inspiration-filled weekend full of motivation and knowledge designed to help you transition into a healthier version of yourself. Expect presentations from some of Australia’s best health experts such as Pete Evans and Cyndi O’Meara and a goodie bag upon arrival.
