It’s hard to believe that less than 10 years ago, the epitome of ‘cool’ was having a souped-up MySpace page — complete with lots of flashy, glittery gifs that said things like ‘cutie with a bootie.’
Now, in the age where Instagram is the ultimate platform for self-expression, the opposite is true. Many of the most IG popular accounts employ a ‘less-is-more’ approach. Instead of bright, in-your-face images, you’re more likely to find a monochrome, netural aesthetic
As ‘cool’ as it is to be a minimalist now, not all of these Instagrammers actually walk the walk. That is, their feeds are painstakingly curated to look ‘minimalist’, but you get the impression that they have a secret room in their houses where they stash all their other stuff.
That’s why we’ve put together a list of some of our favourite minimalist Instagrammers who are the real deal. Their feeds not only serve as great eye candy, but they’ll actually inspire you to downsize your life through their practical tips and advice!
