This simple trick makes bottled water even healthier

charged water, infused water
What if I told you there’s something even better for you in the hydration stakes than pure water? It’s crazy, I know, but true!
The quickest and easiest way to add more pizzazz to your drink bottle is to ‘charge’ your water. Put simply, that means giving your daily dose of water a natural hit of vitamins and minerals by infusing it with delights such as fruit and herbs.
In science nerd speak, this alters the pH levels of the water, basically giving it more ‘life’, which in turn makes you feel more alive too.
An absolute guru in this department, along with every natural wellness department, is David “Avocado” Wolfe. Relax while I quote a small extract from his book Eating For Beauty:
Water alone can dissolve and wash away almost any impurity.  The first step in getting the body chemistry in proper order is to become hydrated.  Nearly the entire population is suffering from chronic dehydration.”  – David Wolfe
So if you’re looking for a substitute for sugar-loaded soft drinks and sneaky so-called “sports” beverages, then raise your glasses my friends, because charged water…

Tastes good. Tick!

Makes boring old water more fun. Tick!

Looks a bit fancy schmancy. Tick!

Remember, it’s the simple, small things that are often the best for you. Keep it real. Charge your water dispenser or drink bottle up with things like these (below) and you’ll feel a million dollars. Cheers everyone! It’s time to charge your glasses.
* Lemon
* Lime
* Cucumber
* Berries
* Mint
* Ginger
* Goji Berries
* A pinch of himalayan pink salt

TIP: If you want to get real wild, leave your water out under the moonlight. (Don’t laugh! It charges, for real) or plop in some crystals

TIP: For a great party trick, make your own infused ice-cubes!
