Try this delicious raw Bircher muesli

This is the perfect breakfast for one! Of course, if there are two or more of you just double or triple the ingredients! You can make this Bircher muesli the night before for a get up and go brekkie! You may just need to add a little more liquid if it has been kept in the fridge overnight. Yummy and convenient!

Raw Bircher Muesli

Serves 1

Prep time: 5 minutes
Fridge time: 10 minutes.


1/2 an apple grated

1 tbs. flaxmeal

1 tbs. pumpkin seeds

1 tbs. sunflower kernels

1 tbs sesame seeds

1 strawberry, chopped

¾ cup almond milk

½ cup raspberries

1 tsp. cinnamon


  1. In a bowl combine the apple, flaxmeal, pumpkin seeds, sunflower kernels, sesame seeds and chopped strawberry.
  2. In a blender, whiz the almond milk, raspberries and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Pour the smoothie mix over the dry ingredients and stir well.
  4. Allow to soak for at least 10 minutes in the fridge.
