If you watched last night’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, it won’t surprise you to learn that there’s no rest for a Victoria’s Secret Angel—even on the morning of the lingerie giant’s biggest showcase, these models were squeezing in last minute workouts. Behati Prinsloo once told Elle that “girls have done squats backstage at the show, it really happens,” which has us thinking: What exactly are these models’ go-to, last-minute workouts? If they’re doing it hours before modeling lingerie in front of millions, they must really believe the style of exercise yields results.
We asked two Angels how they spent the morning of the show this year, and this is what they told us.
How she spent the day ahead of the show: “In the morning I did a little 30-minute workout, and then we went to the Grand Palais, which is such an amazing building, it’s so pretty the size and the beauty of it. Then you get ready—you get in the pink robes and we’re wearing the beautiful Wicked bra underneath it. And you do you hair and makeup, interviews, and have fun with the girls.”
Her pre-show workout details: “I did a little resistance with bands on the floor. Put my feet up and down, lifting, I do a slow workout in the hotel room because ou need your energy for the day. But just to feel good, I think it makes me feel strong and sexy if I do a little workout.”

How she spent the day ahead of the show: “I woke up, worked out because I wanted to pump the booty before the show, and then you get your hair and makeup done. Then it’s press and photo shoots, and then you run around doing shoots in the Grand Palais because you can’t not take pictures in that iconic building! You’re having selfies with you friends, eating, having fun, getting ready for the first show, then there’s a first break and Lady Gaga showed up and we did a lip syncing video with her. [Backstage] is kind of an organized craziness. It’s like a madness and chaos but some how it all works out.”
Her pre-show workout details: “I was working solely on my butt. It was all about pumping the booty before the show.”
