As part of its expansion plans, fan-favorite Y7 hot yoga studio has opened up its latest location, this time in New York City’s TriBeCa neighborhood, so all lower Manhattanites can now join the TriBeCalled Sweat (see what they did there?).
The 2,200-square-foot space features one 30-person studio, along with three showers, four changing rooms, two bathrooms, and the classic all-black lockers lining the space’s walls.
The yoga room features Y7’s beloved state-of-the-art sound system (for those bumping beats) and infrared heating system that’ll turn up the temp and have you sweating all throughout your vinyasa.
The space also boasts Malin+Goetz products, exclusive TriBeCalled Sweat tanks and workout gear, along with Manduka mats and skidless yoga towels that are available to rent (at US $2 and $3, respectively).
But the space features a fun little additional feature that truly sets it apart from the company’s other locations. A yoga selfie booth, located near the class space, gives visitors a chance to take their pre- or post-workout selfie that can document your before-and-after looks.
The company, founded by husband and wife team of Sarah Larson Levey and Mason Levey opened its first location in 2013, and is the original hip-hop yoga studio that will have you flowing to the beats of the likes of Chance the Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, and Nicki Minaj. Following the openings of its Silver Lake location in California, as well as its new NYC location in Brooklyn’s Williamburg, the company is on-schedule to open multiple locations throughout the country in 2018.
And their new TriBeCa outpost is sure to become yet another fan favorite.
The studio is located at 57 Leonard Street in Tribeca, and the class schedule can be accessed at www.y7-studio.com/classes. Single classes can be purchased for $25, and multi-class packs and unlimited memberships are available for purchase, as well.
