Here at Sporteluxe HQ we’re obsessed with healthy hangs and everything wholefoods. So we’re fans of Henley’s Wholefoods in Bondi Junction, known for having a kick-ass menu of paleo-friendly dishes prepared with seasonal and organic produce. So we were super excited to hear that Henley’s is branching out from Bondi Junctions with big and bright things happening in the not-so-distant future!
We had a quick chat to Sophie Henley, General Manager and Owner of Henley’s Wholefoods to find out the scoop about their new locations, what fans can expect and what’s coming next!
“The next 12 months will be huge for the Henley’s family,” says Sophie. “With five to six stores opening and the introduction of very exciting products, concepts and partnerships. We will be opening our Alexandria store early December and pushing for the 18 December for Paddington, just in time for the Christmas break,” reveals says Sophie. The new Intercontinental in Double Bay will be home to another eatery and Surry Hills will also be getting a Henley’s too. At the moment the plan is for these two venues to open at the end of January or in early February next year.
Each of the new eateries will all have an element of individuality, showcasing combination of things you already about Henley’s plus some new additions. Sophie noticed there was a large gap in the market in Sydney’s healthy food scene for delicious and nutritious dinner options. She tells us that one of the bigger plans for Henley’s is “a liquor license at selected venues as well as opening for dinner.” Cheers to that!
“The healthy eating movement has really taken off over the last couple of years,” says Sophie. “Everyone is aware of what they are putting into their bodies and the effects of this are great to see.” We totally agree!
