Why it’s all about warm hues

When the weather is this cold there’s something kinda comforting about rugging up in warm hues. Universally flattering, this season’s palette takes inspiration from the last of the autumnal leaves and packs quite a sophisticated sartorial punch. Think burnt orange, mustard, deep reds and golds. For a sporty take on the look, make like Narciso Rodriguez and layer tonal hues. Think orange trainers paired with a mustard sweater, or a burgundy hoodie layered over a muted yellow tank. If prints are more your thing, take inspo from Etro and swap basic yoga pants for earthy Aztec print leggings. Need an extra layer? A chunky red scarf will look cute in transit to and from the gym, and work just as well with jeans and a blazer for the weekend.
