Foodies and wine lovers are set to converge on Melbourne this week for the start of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival! Kicking off on the 27 February and taking place over 17 action-packed days, the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival includes over 250 events. The festival will feature a mix of high profile names in the food world, both locally and internationally, including the likes of Ruth Rogers from The River Cafe.  With so much on offer we thought we’d put together a little lowdown with a few great events you might want to grab tickets to.

Local flavours from Flinders Island set to tantalise those tastebuds! Think Flinders Island lamb or pasture-fed wallaby, all with local and fresh produce to heighten the flavours.
