Bluesfest in Byron Bay runs from Thursday 2 April to Monday 6 April and is Australia’s best blues and roots festival. This year’s line up includes incredibly talented artists such as Hozier, The Black Keys, Train, Xavier Rudd, David Gray and Paolo Nutini as well as many more across the five day festival. An Easter bonnet shouldn’t be the only fabulous headwear allowed this long weekend! Don your Autumn Racing best and head to Royal Randwick for the first day of The Championships. Pack a healthy picnic, grab a glass of bubbles from the Chandon pop up bar and swing by the Clinique pamper lounge to keep you looking your racing best. If you want to go all out, treat yourself to a ticket to the Icebergs Marquee to live it up with a great view of the course.
Head on down to the Sydney Fish Markets for your Good Friday seafood fiesta. Among the local fish mongers and general merriment of the biggest trading day of the year, Sydney Fish Markets will also play host to the Easter Feastival, with lots of family entertainment on site. So plan an amazing seafood menu and hop on down during the extended trading hours on Good Friday from 5am to 5pm.
Watsons Bay Hotel will host an all you can eat brunch buffet at the Beach Club on Saturday 4 April. Enjoy the tasty spread with a glass of bubbles and one of the finest views in Sydney. If you’re looking for something to on Easter Sunday, there will be the Euphoria Party with an afternoon of DJ entertainment. Have little ones?
